 Meet our Staff

Our staff of trained employees understand how difficult it is to find quality, reliable auto and truck repair. Personal service as well as caring and courteous people make the Bob & Sons difference.

dennis.jpgDennis Poirier
Dennis started working at his dad’s service station at 12 years old, washing cars and pumping gas. You could say he grew up at Bob and Sons. Thirty years later, Dennis is an automotive technician (ASE Certified in six specialties) doing just about everything –diagnostics, engine repair, all aspects of auto repair on all brands.

"We strive to repair their vehicles the first time, every time," Dennis explains. "We take the time to explain what we have found, how it may have occurred, and how it may be prevented in the future. We always keep the old parts to show our customers and explain our findings. "I rarely do the same job twice in a day, making my work exciting and challenging. I enjoy the satisfaction of diagnosing and repairing problems in automobiles every day. My job is rarely boring and repetitive." In his spare time away from the shop, Dennis enjoys snowmobiling (3,000-plus miles each year), bird hunting with his dog, and attending NASCAR races.

Ron Poirier has worked at Bob and Sons Automotive since he was 14 years old, through high school and college. Today, he serves as manager and co-owner.

He’s committed to the family business, but for reasons beyond family. "There are a great many places to have your car serviced," he says. "We believe that treating customers as individuals and friends provides that personal touch. We greet everyone with a smile and in a timely manner. The phone is picked up at or before three rings, and we provide a clean and safe shop environment."

Ron is a diagnostic technician certified in ASE disciplines and attends at least 36 hours of training annually. "I think it is very important to meet the challenge that new technology brings to our field," he says. Ron has worked 30 years in the automotive field.

He’s also a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, having earned degrees in economics and political science. He enjoys flying small airplanes and is pursuing his instrument pilot’s certificate. Ron also spends his time off doing youth sports with his children, and teaching adult Sunday school at his church.

Marc  Provencher
Marc is the service advisor—the "Go-To-Guy"—at Bob and Sons and has been with the company since 1990. Prior to that he owned and operated a limousine service, after working as a service technician at Bob and Sons from 1980 to 1985.

He has an associate’s degree in business and extensive knowledge in the automotive repair field. That’s what makes his role so pivotal at Bob and Sons. But, what most customers would be surprised to learn about Marc is that he’s from a very large family and is related to the Poiriers—which makes him really a member of the Bob and Sons family. He has a passion for old automobiles and the open road, which is best exemplified by his cross-country travels on his motorcycle.

Tim Jodice

Tim is an ASE Master Technician with specialty experience in Diesel performance & driveline systems. Tim brings a positive, up-beat attitude in all he tackles and has extrordinary mechanic skills. He has strong diagnostic skills as well as a love for flying. He enjoys everything aviation and has obtained his private pilot license. Tim is currently working on his instrument rating and intends to own a Bonanza airplane for family use.
